Producer-Only Indoor Market

The ALMH Market prides itself on being a wellness destination like no other in Illinois. As an extension of our mission to improve the health of the people and communities we serve, our aim is to promote fresh food and healthy living while also supporting local farmers and the food-producer economy.

The Market offers an indoor venue and will be open rain or shine May 21 through Oct. 29, 2016. It is a producer-only market held Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at the Logan County Fairgrounds located at 1408 Short 11th Street Lincoln, Illinois.

Vendors feature meat, poultry, pork, eggs, baked goods, and of course, fresh fruits and vegetables. All items are homegrown, handmade and/or vendor-created from locally-owned operations within the state of Illinois.

The ALMH Market accepts debit cards and SNAP/Link cards. Visit The ALMH Market Booth for more information.

In addition to an excellent variety of fresh and local produce, attendees will also find an exciting variety of free activities for all ages. Fitness classes are held weekly at 9 a.m. The ALMH Market also provides The POP Club (Power of Produce Club) to children ages 5-12 every Saturday to encourage children to learn about the food system and try new healthy foods. A rotating schedule of cooking demonstrations, health screenings, and more will also be found at The ALMH Market. Don't miss a thing and join us each Saturday.

See you at The Market!

Supporting the ALMH Mission

The ALMH Market is financially supported by the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation. ALMH continues to improve the health of the people and communities we serve both inside and outside our walls. Over 66 percent of Logan County, Illinois residents are either overweight or obese. The ALMH Market is just one of the efforts ALMH has taken to address obesity and its related diseases.

The ALMH Market inspires a culture of healthy eating and behaviors. In addition to The ALMH Market, the ALMH Foundation supports Logan County’s health coalition, Healthy Communities Partnership (HCP). HCP addresses obesity by bringing the CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) program to local schools and promotes the 5210 lifestyle.
